The concert will draw to a close at 8:00 PM but we invite you to stay for a drink, chat with the musicians or even have a play on our concert grand piano.

Why we love Piano Day

Shoreditch Treehouse wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for our beautiful Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano. This is only one of the many reasons that Piano Day means so much to us and it’s a great excuse to try and raise money for one of our favourite charities.

Piano Day, is an international event that takes place on the 88th day of the year – because of the 88 keys on the piano.

Why does the world need a Piano Day? For many reasons. But mostly, because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener.
